Meet Your Coach Nelson Lee

I began my coaching journey in Hong Kong, working with primary and secondary schools and serving as head coach for well-established programs. Over the years, I led school teams to strong competition results, including top finishes at Hong Kong-wide championships.

After relocating to Toronto in 2024, I bring this approach through mobile coaching that meets players where they are. I coach in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English for clear communication at every stage.

My coaching emphasizes fundamentals, tactics, and steady progress, with attention to injury prevention, mindset, and long-term growth. Great coaching starts with listening—understanding each player's strengths, challenges, and emotions—then shaping training around the individual.

Many students stayed with table tennis for life, and some became career coaches. My focus was always on mastering the sport while enjoying the journey.

Results matter — but building confidence and character lasts longer.

Moments from training, competition, and everyday growth

Trusted by families.

Remembered by players.

Some of my earliest students still stay in touch more than 20 years later. Those connections run deep—built on trust, shared effort, and genuine friendship. Whether a student is chasing championships or discovering the joy of the game, I'm committed to their success. Great results come from great relationships, and my goal is to help every player achieve what matters most to them—with confidence, character, and a love for table tennis that lasts.

Our daughter learns differently and needs extra patience. The coaching adapts to her pace and she's thriving with newfound confidence.
